Brutal.

That's my word for cross training today.  Blech.  Went for a bike ride with Rey, 40 degrees and drizzling. Wet, miserable, frozen HILLS of hell.  Had to take off my glasses because I couldn't see.  I should get wipers for those things.  Don't let all that green fool you, it did me.  It was freezing and windy. Yep.  Toes and fingers are still thawing, but I got it done.

Tomorrow I do what I love...5 miles scheduled!

  1. The weather is cold and rainy here in Houston too this week. Makes me glad my workout today is indoors lol!

    1. I'm actually considering doing my 5 miles on the dreadmill tomorrow instead of outside because I think it's still going to be cold tomorrow before it starts to warm back up. 5 miles on the TM sounds really long though! LOL

  2. But you did it in that weather! And THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS!!! :) Hey, question for you. You have plastic frame glasses (as do I) and you run with them right? (as do I?). What do you do when you start to sweat and they start sliding down your nose? It drives me NUTS when I run... so I end up taking them off and then I'm running pretty much blind. And that stinks too. I really wish my eyes tolerated contacts better.... do you have a super secret that maybe I'm missing?

    1. I run blind. It's SO frustrating! I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the half, I really don't want to run that far without being able to see that well. Besides, how will I enjoy running down Main Street if I can barely see it?? My glasses not only slip off, they fog up after about a mile. I cannot wear contacts either. If you figure out a solution, let me know!!
