Wide-angle Wednesday

Sharing another running shot that I took at my photo shoot on Sunday.  I was so excited when the mother of these children remembered that I had taken some previous shots of her daughter running and asked that I take some more!

Lest you think I'm bias for running shots (ahem...since I am)  I take JUMPING photos too! ;)

I hope everyone is having a nice week!  I'm trying to convince myself NOT to run this morning, I ran the last two mornings and I'm worried my body is going to revolt at some point if I push too much.  I was going to just run a couple times this week and then I have the Glow Run Saturday night, but I seem to be in a
gotta-run-every-day-mode!

I feel fantastic, but I am so paranoid about injury that I keep telling myself I cannot run daily because I might hurt myself.  Anyone else do this?  What do you think about running daily? Yay or Nay?

  1. Nay on running daily!

I love jumping photos; one of my favorite photos from my and my hubby's wedding was everyone jumping on the shoreline!

Glow run sounds super fun, you're gonna recap it, right? :)

    1. Absolutely! I'm wearing a tutu that lights up, you better believe I'll be recapping! LOL! Well, I ran again this morning but I'll tie myself down tomorrow and friday or just take a bike ride. I feel fantastic though!

  2. I run three or four days in a row, usually! But, on the last day in a row that I run, I can definitely feel it. My legs always feel like tree trunks.

Those photos are gorgeous! Love the running picture!

Today was my third day in a row and it actually felt great, I was faster today than the previous 2 days as well?!!

  4. What beautiful pictures! You captured everything so well! I'm doing a run streak right now so I'm running everyday. I think it's ok if you only do it for a short period of time AND you don't make every run a hard one. You have to go easy on some of them. However, I do think you need to have been running consistently for awhile before you start running every day. And everyone is different so you have to listen to YOUR body. Just my two cents though! ;-)

    1. Thanks Mindy! I had noticed you and some other bloggers doing the streaking and thought I could never do it. I am resting today after 3 days because I'm sore and know I need a rest. I do have to just listen to my body. It felt fine to run three days in a row, but it also felt like a rest day on the 4th. Trying to just follow my body's cues!

  5. Beautiful pics!!! Good luck on your glow run, those look fun!
I am a 6 day a week runner, I believe we all need a day off to rest. Occasionally I am a 5 day a week runner with day 6 as a cross train day, but ya I always take 1 day off a week!

    1. Thanks! I'm excited about the Glow Run. It's just a 5K for fun, not timed, BUT there are over 8000 people signed up, so it will officially be the largest race I have been to. Good practice (times 3 or 4!) for the Princess! ;)
